The 1,064 m high mountain overlooks Valldemossa and from its summit you have a fantastic view over the northwest coast of Mallorca. The most used hiking trail leads to the highest point via Finca publica de Son Moragues.

Other hiking trails start directly in the center of the village and lead through a rugged rocky landscape. The mountain region receives considerably more rainfall than the south coast of Majorca. For this reason, olive trees, dwarf palms, pines, almond trees and holm oaks thrive on the slopes.
