In the northeast of Mallorca, in the municipality of Son Servera, is the village of the same name, in an area known as Llevant.

A bypass has recently been built - in the past, everyone heading to the beach drove straight through Son Servera - but nowadays fewer visitors get to see this small town, except perhaps on Friday mornings when the weekly market takes place.

Golfers will immediately think of the local golf course when they hear the name of this town - Son Servera Golf is the second oldest golf course in Mallorca and opened in the 1960s as a 9-hole course, but it was extended to 18 holes in 2012. Other golf courses in Canyamel and Capdepera are easily accessible from here.

The municipality of Son Servera also includes the popular resort of Cala Millor with its long sandy beach, situated between the smaller resort of Cala Bona and the Sa Punta de n'Amer nature reserve. Cala Millor's Sa Màniga Auditorium is the venue for many cultural events, including ballet, theatre and concerts.

From Son Servera you can quickly reach the pretty town of Artà by car, which is also very popular with visitors from Germany. This town is not only popular for its basket work but also for its lively weekly market on Tuesday mornings, in summer the number of market stalls doubles.
